12 Hour Group Matchplay Tournament

RLM Amusements is hosting a 12 hour group Matchplay tournament on Saturday, May 13th 2023. Players of all skill levels are welcome! The tournament is limited to 64 players and only players who are registered for the tournament will be allowed in the building.
We will play 2 matches per round, use IFPA scoring (7/5/3/1) along with Swiss pairing (players will be paired against players with the same win-loss record). We will keep playing matches until midnight with no finals. We will take a 45 minute break for dinner around 5pm but other that that we will continue to play non-stop.
Doors will open at 11am for practice and the tournament will start at 12pm. No practice will be allowed on the pinball machines once the tournament starts. We do have a variety of arcade games that can be played in between rounds.
There will be cash payouts (in the form of checks made payable to each player) for the top 8 players with 40% of the entry fees going into the pot. The payout percentages are as follows.
1st place - 35%
2nd place - 20%
3rd place - 15%
4th place - 10%
5th thru 8th place - 5%
If we get 64 players total, the payouts will be as follows:
1st place - $538
2nd place - $307
3rd place - $230
4th place - $154
5th thru 8th place - $77
This is an IFPA sanctioned event with no finals. We will stream the entire tournament on our Twitch channel at twitch.tv/rlmamusements. Waters and sodas will be provided. Outside food and beverages are allowed as well.
We will have a variety of prizes that players will be able to win in our giveaways that we will do throughout the day as well!

You can also purchase tickets using cash, check or credit card in person at RLM Amusements on Thursdays from 5pm-10pm and Saturdays from 12pm-10pm.
Ticket purchases are not refundable tho they can be transferred to another player if you purchase a ticket and are unable to attend.
